The new year is off and running at a great pace. We are in a challenging market right now with lots of short sales and foreclosures.   Our current market conditions are full of opportunities for buyers to purchase and invest in real property.  I continue to further my education to stay as knowledgeable as I can.  Over the last few months, I have gained additional information and knowledge regarding distressed properties and short sales.  My new designation is SFR. If you are a buyer still on the fence about buying a home , here are three reasons to buy now:

Green Tip of the month:  Power optimizing computer settings can save energy and money. From the start menu, click on "settings" and then "control panel."  To power optimize a PC, double click on "power management." Under "power schemes," choose "always on" from the drop-down list. Then, find two more drop-down lists, labeled "turn off monitor" and "turn off hard disks," and input the desired time for each.

Currently the market has changed - it is now a strong buyers market.  What does this mean?  Sellers are not getting as much as they had hoped or as much as they could have gotten two or three years ago.  Buyers are finding many great opportunities since there are about 6 times the normal listings currently on the market.  There are many sellers that are desperate to sell in the San Diego, CA real estate market, so please "Call Hedy When You're Ready".
